Bluff Woods is located between Nashville and Chattanooga, Tennessee, atop the Cumberland Plateau near Monteagle Mountain (2100' above sea level). Temperatures average 6 to 8 degrees cooler in the summer than in lower-lying areas. Winters are generally mild, but several significant snowfalls usually can be expected. Over 30 world-class parks, waterfalls and hiking venues are located within a 30 minute drive of Bluff Woods.

From Interstate 24, take Exit 127, Tennessee Route 50 (Pelham/Winchester). Take Route 50 east from the interstate (toward Altamont). Follow Route 50 up the beautiful Elk River Valley. The highway will ascend the Cumberland Escarpment (the technical name for the Bluffs). At the top of the bluff, watch for the TN Hwy 108 cut-off, but bear left (staying on Route 50). Bluff Woods is just two miles ahead, on your left. Watch for our sign at Hideaway Cabin Road! When you arrive at the gate, punch "O" (operator) on the touchpad and we'll direct you in!
